A Note From President, Bob Vetere
Why is it when the clocks move forward, and we lose an hour of sleep, our schedules always seem to be the busiest? Thankfully, and I think you’ll agree, it’s the work we do, the people we work with and the animals we serve that make it all worth it.
With daylight savings time also comes the kickoff of the 2019 trade show season. I’m looking forward to a preview of the latest and greatest pet products on the market at Global Pet Expo set for March 20-22, presented by the American Pet Products Association(APPA) and Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA). PLC members are invited to attend the PLC meeting on Tuesday March 19th from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m in room W208C. During the meeting, we’ll discuss our latest initiatives and causes and give attendees exciting updates on where the PLC is heading in 2019. In addition to the PLC meeting, I hope our paths cross on the Show Floor or at one of the many networking events as well.
Separate from Global Pet Expo, I am proud to recognize three new PLC supporters: Fear Free, The Impetus Agency and Inspire PR Group. These organizations are committed to supporting the industry by promoting the importance of responsible pet ownership. Thanks to all of your support allowing the PLC to continue its efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of companion animals, reaching more pets and humans than ever before. For more on how your business can become a PLC supporter, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep up the great work and enjoy this week’s articles.
