WellPet Donates 50,000 Pounds of Food to Shelters Affected by Floods
Following the recent flooding in Lousiana, thousands of pets have been displaced or abandoned. Shelters have taken in many of these pets but with many shelters at or beyond capacity, they have struggled to provide adequate nutrition and care for these pets. Fortunately, WellPet, has stepped up by providing approximately 50,000 pounds of food and treats to affected shelters.
“When we heard about the sheer number of displaced animals in Louisiana, we knew we needed to do something to help. At WellPet, we do whatever it takes to make the healthiest natural products for the pets that depend on us, and that includes the shelter pets who need us most. We’re proud to give what we can to these dogs and cats in need and hope it helps them feel their best while they wait to go home.”
