A new app is helping pet owners keep tabs on their pets’ health.
The app, part of the Fuzzy pet health-tracking service, helps pet owners to manage their pets’ health by providing access to medical records as well as regularly scheduled veterinary appointments. In addition to records and check-up reminders, the app also provides users with a general score indicative of their pets’ overall health. The Fuzzy Pet Health Score uses a multi-point scoring system based on factors like pet hygeine, activity level, lifestyle, and others to provide an overall snapshot of pets’ health.
“Our goal is to make pet-health accessible to all pet parents. The delivery of pet care today is antiquated. It’s more complex than it needs to be, expensive and ultimately scary for both pets and pet parents particularly new pet parents who may not have any prior experience raising and taking care of an animal. Here at Fuzzy, we want to change that and bring preventive and accessible pet-health to all.”
— Zubin Bhettay, Co-Founder & CEO, Fuzzy
The Fuzzy service is currently available in San Francisco and the Bay Area but is expected to expand to other markets later this year. The app is available for iOS and Android devices.
