Quick action by the cabin crew of a JetBlue flight may have saved the life of a French bulldog.
During a flight from Florida to Massachusetts, Michele Burt noticed her French bulldog, Darcy, appeared to be having difficulty breathing. While assessing the situation, Burt removed Darcy from her carrier, prompting flight attendants to investigate. While the flight attendants were initially going to ask that Burt place her dog back in her carrier, they began providing aid once they learned that the dog was having difficulty breathing.
After the administration of ice packs and oxygen, Darcy appeared to resume breathing normally, much to the relief of Burt and the flight attendants.
